The Force Is Strong With Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ Toronto Exhibit

“There’s been an awakening. Have you felt it?”

We’ve seen all 5,000 trailers and pre-purchased front-row tickets for the December 18 premiere, so what else is there for a Torontonian to do to celebrate the very-near release of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens? We’ve got your answer!

A not very long time from now in a neighbourbood probably not far, far away, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Toronto Exhibit” will open its doors to sell cool merch and let you pose for photos with some of the new film’s raddest characters. The best part: free admission!

Beginning December 5 at 11am (yup, that’s tomorrow alright), the revolving pop up spot at 277 Queen St. West will be the only North American destination for the exhibit, which stays open for business until December 21. So you’ve got 16 days to buy that special someone a $25 limited edition Force Awakens t-shirt.

The main event is five life-size character replicas, courtesy of UK-based company Prop Shop, which also created the official props used in the production of the film. Here’s who’s on display:

Captain Phasma, Kylo Ren, and a First Order Stormtrooper

Rey and BB-8

Need even more BB-8 in your life? There’s even a photo op area where you can have your picture taken with the cutest droid in the galaxy:

We’re also told special guests, themed days, activities, and giveaways will be revealed via social media over the duration of the exhibit, so be sure to follow Walt Disney Studios Canada on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter using this handy hashtag:
