The New Force Awakens Trailer Heralds The Arrival Of The First Order
It’s here, complete with droids new and old: the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer is definitely the clip you were looking for.
The studio teased us on Sunday by dropping a couple of short videos on Instagram and promising that a full trailer would air during Monday Night Football on ESPN with presale tickets for the movie becoming available immediately after.

And it has—no need to subject yourself to NFL football, though. The new trailer is now available online (on this very page even).
With the battle between the rebels and the First Order (aka the Empire 2.0) making Monday’s gridiron contest between the New York Giants and the Philadelphia Eagles look like a friendly schoolyard tiddlywinks match, this third (and last?) new trailer goes a long way to build tension (and excitement) for the forthcoming film.
Highlights include: a glimpse of Carrie Fisher, more than a glimpse of Harrison Ford, insight into the life of a Stormtrooper turncoat (John Boyega), and a confirmation of Darth Vader’s legacy with a more formal introduction to Adam Driver’s ominous new villain, Kylo Ren.
Of course, this newest clip has the twitterverse going nuts (especially in Canada, where it’s already been a highly emotional night):

Ok, gotta admit, it’s feeling like a rerun of my childhood: Star Wars, Trudeau, the Jays?! Seriously, are we rerunning the 70’s and 80’s??

But all they hype is for good reason. See for yourself. Here’s the full trailer is in all it’s oh-my-god-is-it-December-yet? glory:
