Spider-Man’s Tom Holland Shows Off His Insane Gymnastic Skills

Now that Spidey is officially part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there’s a friendly rivalry brewing between Thor and Spider-Man—and we’re all reaping its benefits on social media. Weeks after Chris Hemsworth posted a behind-the-scenes look at his stunt training on the Australia set of Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, one-upped the mighty Thor with his own stunt video—and this kid’s got serous Spidey skills.

But first, here’s Hemsworth’s noble first attempt, in which he kind of sort of nailed the landing:

Whereas Hemsworth was having a bit of trouble following his trainer Bobby Holland Hanton’s lead, Holland made spinning in midair look easy from the Atlanta set of Spider-Man: Homecoming. The 20-year-old web-slinger can really fly:

@chrishemsworth and @bobbydazzler84 beat that!

OK, so maybe it’s a tad unfair to compare the two Marvel superheroes. After all, Holland has years of gymnastics training under his superhero utility belt. Just watch him nail this tumbling pass:

Thankfully, there’s zero bad blood between Thor and Spidey. It’s just a friendly cross-set competition. In fact, Hanton even sent his own (complicated) stunt challenge Holland’s way. “This is what you have to try next,” he captioned a video of a tricky-looking, off-the-wall gymnastics move. “I’ll teach it to you when I see you in Atlanta.” Something tells us Holland can pull this one off, no problem.

The ball is in your court, Hemsworth!
