Celebrate Space-Mas With 3 Whole Days Of Doctor Who

Year after year, no matter how old we get, there’s one thing that we always want for the holidays: a day (or two or three) spent watching as much Doctor Who as we can handle. Which is a lot. Once again, Space comes through for Who fans, checking ‘Doctor Who marathon’ off of our wish lists.

All the Whos down in Whoville, err, Whovians in Whotopia can mark their advent calendars because from December 23 to December 25 Space will be airing three full days of Who, ending on Christmas day with the premiere of this season’s Doctor Who Christmas Special “The Husbands of River Song.”

Leading up to that, you can catch all the Who Christmas specials starting with “The Christmas Invasion” and going all the way up to last season’s “Last Christmas” as well as some standout episodes like “The Waters of Mars” and “The Day of the Doctor” special. Excited yet?

There’s more. Space will also be broadcasting An Adventure in Space and Time, the 2013 film about the creation and production of the original Doctor Who series as well as seasons eight and nine in their entirety—to properly prepare you for the new 75-minute special in which Peter Capaldi’s Doctor will meet Alex Kingston’s River Song for the first time.

Space’s Christmas With The Doctor Marathon kicks off Wednesday December 23 at 8am and ends December 25 with the 9pm ET premiere of “The Husbands of River Song.” See below for the marathon schedule and head back to Space.ca for more details.

Wednesday, Dec. 23 from 8 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.

Thursday, Dec. 24 from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Happy Wholidays!
