Prometheus Star Noomi Rapace Will Be In Alien: Covenant After All

We’ve been reporting on Ridley Scott’s Prometheus sequel, Alien: Covenant, before it was even cool (like, when it was just called plain ol’ Prometheus 2, then Prometheus: Paradise Lost, AND THEN Alien: Covenant).

After misinforming everyone that Prometheus’ sole human survivor, Noomi Rapace, wouldn’t show up in the upcoming sequel (hey, that’s what Scott himself said), Deadline reports that right now she’s shooting “weeks worth of scenes” for the long-awaited sci-fi sequel that better have some goddamn xenomorphs in it.

As you may or may not know, Alien: Covenant will also star Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Danny McBride, Demian Bichir, and Billy Crudup, who played Doctor Manhattan in Zack Snyder’s ambitious Watchmen adaptation. ICYMI, here’s a teaser pic of Waterston (who plays a character named Daniels) that the Alien peeps shared on Facebook just under a month ago.

We’re still over a year away from the R-rated film’s August 4, 2017 release, but here are 11 chest-bursting facts about the original 1979 masterpiece to help tide you over.
