Here’s The Finding Dory Trailer You’ve Been Waiting Over A Decade For

It only took Disney 13 years but a reunion between an absentminded blue tang and a father/son pair of clownfish will take place next summer when Finding Dory finally hits theatres. Dory (voiced by Ellen Degeneres) is reteaming with pals Nemo and Marlin (Albert Brooks) in a follow-up adventure to 2003’s Oscar-winning Finding Nemo and the first trailer for the film is out today.

Now nextdoor neighbours with Nemo and his dad, Dory has taken up sleepwalking, err, swimming, haunted by dreams of her past and fragmented memories about, uh, something. (Remember: Dory’s memory has never been her strong suit.) Spurred on by these half-remembered images of a past life, she sets out to see what she can uncover about her family, her past and her ability to speak whale.

The long-awaited sequel will see the return of Nemo director Andrew Stanton and will feature the voices of Diane Keaton and Eugene Levy as Dory’s parents, Ty Burrell as a beluga called Bailey, and Ed O’Neill as Hank the octopus. Dominic West and Idris Elba also have roles and Willem Dafoe returns as Gill, the leader of the Tank Gang.

Finding Dory swims into theatres June 17, 2016. Check out the trailer and poster below.
