Daniel Craig Really, Really Doesn’t Want To Do Another Bond Movie

With the release of James Bond’s 24th mission (SPECTRE) just around the corner (November 6), Daniel Craig proclaimed that he’s totally over playing Agent 007. In a very candid—and highly amusing— interview with London-based publication TimeOut, Craig proclaimed he’d “rather break this glass and slash my wrists” than do another Bond movie.

In fairness, he followed that visceral statement by saying he hasn’t given any thought to moving on from Bond for good, but he would need at least a year or two and he would only do it again for the money.

Craig went on to say that he doesn’t “give a fuck” who plays Bond after him, but “good luck to them!” Asked what advice he would offer his successor, Craig replied: “Just make sure you’re great. You’ve got to push yourself as far as you can. It’s worth it, it’s James Bond.” He also said “Don’t be a shit” about five or six times.

Raise your hand if you think Craig is totally going to do another Bond movie?
