Beauty And The Beast Turns 25 This Year, So The Cast Reunited For The Anniversary

Disney’s version of Beauty and the Beast, a tale as old as time, is now officially a tale of 25 years. The classic film turns a quarter-century old on November 22, and several of the cast and crew reunited yesterday to celebrate the upcoming anniversary.

As part of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’s Marc Davis Celebration of Animation in Beverly Hills, the voice actors behind Belle, The Beast, Gaston, Chip, Mrs. Potts, and more reunited with the production team who made the whole thing possible.

If you’re wondering who voiced who, here’s a helpful guide.

The Beast (Robby Benson) and Belle (Paige O’Hara) reminded us why they were such a classic Disney couple.

“Everyone looks the same,” O’Hara told the AP at the event. “I mean, we’re all older, but [laughs] it’s a really wonderful reunion.”

And Gaston (Richard White) and Lefou (Jesse Corti) refrained from plotting evil deeds, opting for smiles instead.

Perhaps Gaston finally figured out how to read a book without pictures—by using his imagination—and that explains his smile?

Plus, Chip (Bradley Pierce) shared a sweet pic of him and Mrs. Potts (Angela Lansbury) together again.
