See Jason Momoa’s Aquaman In Latest Justice League Footage

If you’re getting impatient waiting for the next major DC flick, fear not we’ve got a round-up of all things Aquaman.

In a new mini-featurette about Jason Momoa’s life, we get to see a few new clips from his days shooting as the king of the seven seas from the set of Justice League. We get a snapshot of him and director Zack Snyder on the shoreline plus a shirtless Momoa looking pumped about entering the bone-chilling water.

Check out the whole video below to get the full Momoa experience.

If a few stills from Justice League aren’t enough to wet your whistle for a live-action Aquaman, there’s also casting news for the stand-alone flick coming in 2018.

Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master

It was announced this week that Patrick Wilson has been cast as the main villain against Momoa’s Aquaman. Best known for his role in The Conjuring and and as Nite Owl in Watchman, Wilson will be taking on the role as Orm Marius aka Ocean Master.

Amber Heard as Mera

We last saw Amber Heard in last year’s award show darling The Danish Girl. She’s had plenty of action experience from her roles in Machete Kills and Drive Angry, so she’s definitely primed to take on the fierce Mera, partner and love interest to Aquaman.

Willem Dafoe as Vulko

Willem Dafoe is no stranger to the superhero genre having played the Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man back in 2002. We don’t know yet if this iteration of Vulko will be friend or foe to Aquaman, but he is set to make an appearance in Justice League so we’ll get our first introduction then.

You can watch Jason Momoa crash into theatres as Aquaman when Justice League opens November 17, 2017 and tackle his own feature when Aquaman is released in 2018.
