A Look Inside Jurassic World

Jurassic World

Ever wish you could see a trailer for one of the summer’s biggest blockbusters—with some random sound bites mixed in? Well, that’s exactly what you get with A Look Inside, the latest featurette for Jurassic World.

In addition to an abridged version of the trailer, this video offers some quick thoughts from co-writer/director Colin Trevorrow, actor Chris Pratt, and the king of Hollywood himself, Steven Spielberg. If John Williams’ classic theme isn’t enough to get you excited about the franchise’s long-awaited fourth installment, Spielberg’s enthusiastic endorsement should do the trick. “To see Jurassic World come to life is like seeing Jurassic Park come true,” he says, confusingly blurring the line between movie titles and fictional theme park names. “Jurassic World goes down an original road, and it’s a breathtaking adventure.”

Trevorrow explains that Spielberg wanted the movie to explore “our relationship with animals on our planet right now.” According to Pratt, human exploitation of animals is a serious concern—and one that puts us in grave danger. “When you create an animal for your own amusement, it doesn’t go well for the humans,” says the actor, before acknowledging his desire to impress the original film’s cast and crew. “As a fan of Jurassic Park, I feel there’s a responsibility to make sure you’re delivering something that the people who made this franchise would be proud of.”

Below you’ll find the new featurette for Jurassic World, which opens in theatres on June 12th.
